Weight Loss Diet Tips for Women

When it comes to weight loss you need to know what your overall goal is. How much weight would you like to lose? How long a time period are you happy losing it over? How much time can you give to exercise per day or per week?

When you answer those questions you will have a much better chance of finding a plan that will suit you. If the plan doesn’t fit you, it won’t work long term and that is really what we all want.

When it comes to weight loss for women there are several ways but remember not all weight loss diets use healthy methods. High protein and low carbohydrate diets are popular because people have achieved fast and substantial weight loss results. We’ve all heard of the Atkins Diet and other low-carb diets and know someone that is on it or has tried it.

One important fact to remember if you’re trying to lose weight, is that you want to lose fat not just weight. Some very limited diets seem to work but you’re dehydrated, which is very dangerous as it can cause neurological and physiological side effects. Plus once you start eating more than a rabbit eats your body will store fat and you can end up heavier than before. So no starvation diets!

Most high protein low carbohydrate diets are set up and restricted to lean meat, poultry, eggs, low fat cheese, seafood, and vegetables for the first two weeks. This will be followed by the introduction of fruits, whole grains, and dairy.

There is always the vegan raw food diet. As the name states the vegan raw food diet is an eating plan that involves the primary consumption of raw foods. This includes all sorts of nuts, vegetables, fruits, and grain products. This is something I cannot do but you may like it.

Imagine sitting down to dinner and enjoying raw carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, apples, macadamia nuts and tofu to name just a few. If you like a lot of raw veg tables then this may be the way to go but if like me you like meat and everything cooked you will find this very hard.

There are many options online all you need to do is search Women’s Weight Loss Tips to find lots of different approaches. A tip I always recommend is that you record what you eat in a week (show no one) and then you can plainly see what has to change.
